This type specimen booklet focused on three serif typefaces—old style, slab, and humanist—and three sans serif typefaces—grotesque, geometric, humanist. As part of an earlier exercise, I developed patterns based on characters from fonts in these typefaces. Those patterns are featured on the spreads of the typefaces they came from, hence the title of the booklet.
