As born-and-raised Chicagoan, V finds calm in navigating chaos. They look for the balance between organic and deliberate, random and structured. As a type enthusiast, V enjoys mishandling letterforms, from small changes like making a ligature, to clever changes like punchouts, to borderline illegibility through abstraction. Currently finishing up their studies at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, V aspires to be involved in branding, publication design, or typographic design. V also loves flowers and floral patterns, and creating physical media. Even if they’ve never used a material before, V’s probably thinking they could figure it out.
