This font was an exercise in both modular letterform construction and balancing a cohesive process with legibility. The bean module was developed first, and the other modules act as complimentary support structures. A pattern was developed using two of the modules and used in a promotional poster for the font. The name is a reference to the tense relationship between “the Bean” artist Anish Kapoor and “The Pinkest Pink” creator Stuart Semple.
